Job Summary
For those interested in Logistics Specialist role. You will support supply chain operations in North America utilizing best in class service level for internal/external customers while carefully adhering to safe and efficient stewardship practices.
Job Description
- Recent experience directly supporting Supply Chain Operations and Logistics.
- Advanced SAP experience conducting a wide variety of TM (Transportation Management) and OTC (Order to Cash) transactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve SAP discrepancies and issues.
- Exceptional Excel skills including advanced formulas and features typically associated with high volume environments.
- Will execute a high volume of SAP transactions while demonstrating above average ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Create stock transfer orders to support reverse logistics (product returns).
- Collaborate with Customer Service team to ensure that return orders are processed on time and with careful accuracy.
- Investigate third party warehouse inventory discrepancies and provide operational support for the warehouse inventory reconciliation process.
- Perform the re-name of batch/lot codes to correct inventory master data.
- Process freight invoices that have been rejected from third party audit while carefully adhering to timeline expectations.
- Investigate root causes for freight invoice errors to eliminate future rejections or to improve the overall process.
- Deliver safe, reliable, and cost-efficient logistics solutions that serve our customers and business.
- Share innovative and sustainable solutions with partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate inventory at third party warehouses and bulk terminals.
Skills Required
- Support service providers to insure high quality deliveries to customers.
- Present a professional face to customer at delivery to promote a best-in-class image.
- Provide first quality logistics expertise to internal business groups.
- Confirm the proper bulk equipment is available at the time of need.
- Verify the sites and tanks we ship to comply, fulfill stewardship requirements, and are authorized to repackage.
- Educate internal stakeholders and partners to ensure compliance to government and industry regulations.
- Offer prompt and seamless reverse logistics to maintain customers loyalty to our business.
- Coordinate re-label/repack at 3PLs and align with stakeholders.
- Execute product disposal within regulatory guidelines.
- Assure that service provider payments are timely and accurate.
Additional Requirements
- Shift Time: Flexible -- 32-40 hours per week. Start and end times slightly flexible (must work core hours of 9 AM - 3 PM) -- can start as early as 7 AM.
- Position is located onsite.
Pay Rate
- Starting at $25 and more depending on experience.
