York IT Solutions is hiring System Engineer in contract and onsite capacity
Role: System Engineer/R&D Engineer
Location: St Paul, MN
Bill Rate: $25.00-$30.00 an hr W2
Position Overview:
This position is for the Computer Systems Engineering team in Research and Development with the Software Development team at Client's location. Looking for a talented individual to join the team as an R&D Technician working within product development. The position will assist with the Computer Systems Development team in configuration, installation, and deployment of systems .
Required Experience:
Preferred 1 to 2 years experience in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields.
Experience with Microsoft Windows or Linux Operating System installation and configuration, including driver troubleshooting and OS enhancements, and software installation
Detail oriented with the ability to follow written procedures and document progress on tasks
Experience working with issue management systems to create, triage, and track issues
Familiarity with performing quality assurance checks on computer systems
Organized and on-time with ability to follow thru on tasks and work in a structured process environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred minimum of Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
