Job description
We are an established Civil Engineering firm that's been proudly serving the Mid Atlantic for 50+ years! We have a diverse portfolio of projects involving highways, bridges, interchanges, transit facilities, water resources, environmental enhancements, water mains, sewer mains, electrical conduits and more. We are experiencing tremendous growth and as a result are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our team!
$100k - $130k base salary (DOE)

Bachelors degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or related field
4+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience
Experience working on projects in Virginia a must
Experience with Design of maintenance of traffic, signing plans, marking plans, etc.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
Proficient in traffic simulation software, such as VISSIM, Synchro, or HCS
PTOE a plus
Analyze traffic data and patterns to identify and solve traffic problems and improve traffic flow and safety
Design and develop traffic plans and models using traffic simulation software and other tools
Conduct traffic studies and surveys to collect and evaluate traffic information and feedback
Prepare and present traffic reports and recommendations to stakeholders and clients
Coordinate and collaborate with other engineers, technicians, contractors, and agencies on traffic projects
Review and ensure compliance with traffic policies, regulations, and standards
