Job description
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance management, and onboarding of new employees. The HR Generalist will be responsible for maintaining a consistent level of communication with all internal departments to ensure successful business operations. This position is a key role in providing HR support and guidance to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment and staffing strategies to ensure that the organization is staffed with competent and qualified individuals
- Manage new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Develop and administer training and development plans for employees
- Assist with performance management processes and disciplinary actions
- Research and recommend best practices in the areas of recruitment, staffing, training and development, and onboarding
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to HR functions to ensure compliance
- Perform other HR related duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
