Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a growth-oriented Senior Renewable Energy Permitting Professional to assist with the expansion of our North American Energy Transition services. This position will support both private and public sector clients, including, renewable energy developers, utilities, industrial manufacturing, commercial, government, and quasi-government clients, as well as emerging investment and clean energy innovation entrants to the market. This position can be based out of any of our US offices, but our preference would be in the Northwest US. A successful candidate can expect to work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of project and client teams. Periodic travel will be required (10-25%).
Role accountabilities:
As a Senior Renewable Energy Permitting Professional, you will work within a team in our North American Resilience business group that serves a broad range of clients and project types across many market sectors. The Resilience business group provides full-service planning, permitting, consulting, engineering, project/program management, and construction services. We combine technical expertise, a passion to serve, and a willingness to be adaptable in every project to serve industrial, public, and federal clients.
The focus of your work will be to collaborate with our client development, account management, and operations teams to develop relationships, create opportunities to expand our Energy Transition services, and lead permitting activities, environmental impact assessment, and feasibility studies around renewable energy projects throughout the U.S. While the primary areas of focus will likely be solar, wind, and storage projects – in this role you are likely to be engaged in permitting activities for other clean energy technologies (hydrogen, plastics, renewable gas, small modular reactors, etc.) and electric transmission projects as well. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and market familiarity with permitting of renewables projects and be able to assist clients with planning services for project development and execution of comprehensive permitting programs. expertise with state and federal laws and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
You will leverage existing and establish new, strong, trusted-advisor relationships to help our clients realize their organizational goals through understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions. You will be a great team builder and collaborator capable to drive growth for our people and delivering results for our customers.

The salary range for this position is $116000.00 - $174000.00.
