Lead Responsibilities
- Ensure staff are providing excellent customer service
- Provide oversight of Prenatal staff, be a resource to assist with various duties and questions
- Responsible for ensuring Prenatal staff track no-show patients and re-schedule them in a timely manner
- Work closely with manager to keep staff performance within guidelines; liaison with billing departments to ensure accurate patient billing and correct any discrepancies; obtain all information necessary for billing
- Actively manage schedule by checking days ahead of time and notifying supervisor of potential upcoming issues
- Act as role model to the Prenatal staff; provide guidance in correct customer service procedures
- Conduct new hire and ongoing training to Prenatal staff to ensure staff meet the minimum requirements of the position
- Provide first level support to research issues surrounding complaints, billing, registration and communicating findings to manager
Provide support to the program manager, CPSP providers and referral coordinators with case management, appointment setting, and various clerical duties.
- Receive patients after provider visits and complete orders for follow-up appointments, labs and referrals as directed
- Ensure that all patients have follow-up appointments with CPSP staff
- Assist patients in completing video interviewing for Medi-Cal benefits
- Act as a liaison between VCC and TCMC for delivering moms by entering outcomes, birth histories and scheduling appointments for follow-up at the clinic
- Rotate through all prenatal services and locations as needed
- Assist with the preparation of ultrasound appointments
Minimum
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year related lead experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge of community health centers, and public assistance programs, state and federal regulations and managed care systems
- Experience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel), business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities
Pay Range
$20.00-$24.00
