Job description
The Learning and Development Program Manager works collaboratively with Wellsky's Clinical Operations leadership team to assess, identify, plan, implement, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning and development activities for Wellsky's Post-Acute Care Management Program. This position is responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive learning program that supports the development and training needs of a diverse workforce within our department. The Learning Program Manager will utilize available open sources, industry knowledge, and best practices to design and deliver high-quality learning materials tailored to various job roles within the department.
A day in the life!
Key Responsibilities: - Develop, design, deliver and maintain a wide range of learning materials, including e-learning modules, training manuals, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Develop learning goals, objectives, curriculum, and measurements that promote desired performance outcomes.
- Create comprehensive and structured training curricula for various job roles within the healthcare initiative.
- Align learning objectives with departmental goals and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Continuously review and update curricula to adapt to changing healthcare practices and emerging trends.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders and subject matter experts to prioritize learning needs and develop targeted solutions.
- Provide consistent support to frontline staff to facilitate understanding of process changes and successful implementation.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 8-10 years related work experience.

Preferred Requirements: - Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Expert knowledge of adult learning, training, career development techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Strong platform style and presentation skills to effectively motivate groups.
- Ability to manage complex learning projects and programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Publisher (or similar desktop publishing program).
