Services Advisor III

Job description


The Services Advisor III is responsible for supervising the group's operations which
includes report writing, pre-survey logistics, cost savings, large project management,
technical training and general team output. This role proofs and trains the Advisors' data
analysis and report writing. The Services Advisor III ensures the report writing
deliverables are met while maintaining a level of quality and technical proficiency. This
position also includes travel to customer locations to identify products and services that
Motion can sell to our customers. The Services Advisor III works closely with a sales team
to generate revenue and identify additional opportunities.


JOB DUTIES
• Works closely with Energy Services team manager to ensure there is group growth,
productivity and innovation.
• Supervises report writing and output from the team while meeting deadlines and ensuring
the group meets the annual goal of reported projects.
• Guides and coaches all Advisors on technical report writing and data analysis.
• Oversees the pre-survey process, ensuring the logistics are discussed and all the
necessary preparation is adhered to. This includes travel, safety requirements, PPE and
field personnel support.
• Oversees cost savings documentation and required follow-ups to ensure the documents
are signed, recorded and the team's annual goal is met.
• Manages large individual projects and multi-site projects to deliver consistency at each
customer location to ensure team success.
• Ensures the team assesses customer needs and develops reports based on data during
customer site visits, which includes quotes, technical specifications and pricing
consideration.
• Works with vendors to create and grow energy related sales opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and five (5) years or more years of related
experience or an equivalent combination.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES


• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal employees, vendors, partners
and external customers.
• Ability to create and proof team generated reports and proposals for customers.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of internal and external partners.
• High-level math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands:

Travels up to 40% of the time.Ability to regularly stand, walk, talk, hear, and lift occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl. Ability to travel to various sites and plants. Ability to walk up to eight hours a day for 40 hours a week in varying manufacturing environments in all seasons.
