Lilah - CNS Event Partners catering company - from the award-winning team behind Zahav and co. - is looking to expand their team. The Catering Sales Coordinator should have an excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to seek future sales growth.
Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team. The Catering Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in the active development of new catering business and promotion of venue spaces, as well as managing the coordination and execution of various events. Events include corporate, milestone occasions and weddings. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tours at venues for potential clients, showcasing unique features and amenities.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences, providing tailored recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing quotes to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee all aspects of event management, including setup, vendor coordination, on-site supervision, and breakdown.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details using our CRM system.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional strategies to drive venue bookings and revenue growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and enhance service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality management preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and establish lasting client relationships.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Tripleseat
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
