Description

Job Summary: Safely respond to maintenance issues including breakdowns and troubleshooting. Complete follow-up tasks from the previous shift and conduct shift rounds. Execute operating work orders and support operations during upset conditions to ensure high mill reliability. Maintain lockout certifications as assigned. Responsible for being aware of maintenance issues throughout the mill or assigned area (log books, interaction with operators). Supports and promotes the ARAUCO Asset Reliability Process (ARP). Responsible for being aware of maintenance issues throughout the mill or assigned area (log books, interaction with operators). Enter appropriate work requests for required follow-up work in SAP.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for taking your safety and the safety of your co-workers
• Ability to understand, develop and implement work order PM’s.
• Ability to work extended hours and rotating shift as required.
• Ability to work at heights in a manufacturing environment required.
• Self-motivated and strong organizational skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years industrial mechanic experience required (including bearings, hydraulics, pumps, gearboxes).
• Welding and Fabrication skills.
• Experience in reliability techniques & knowledge of lubrication principles.
• Strong, demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use a variety of mechanical troubleshooting equipment and techniques (ie. laser alignment).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
