NOTE: This position is fully ON-SITE in our Baltimore, MD, Location! Position Summary: The
Technical Support Specialist provides elevated technical support to the internal end-user community. Performs evaluating, designing, testing, and deploying new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions by standard best security practices and enterprise security requirements.

Technical Support Specialist provides elevated technical support to the internal end-user community. Performs evaluating, designing, testing, and deploying new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions by standard best security practices and enterprise security requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Provide basic LAN administration under the direction of the Systems Engineer.
- Support AUS region: including orientation of new providers and escalation point for DOO, COO, and site managers. Regular onsite presence.
- Organize and lead the Change Management process.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on a wide range of assets.
- Manage and Harden desktops and server infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze traffic to various company sites and cloud providers.
- Manage End Point Detection and Response (EDR).
- Interpret and prioritize Vulnerability Scan results.
- Assist with security incident response efforts.
- Work with the vCiso design, roll out security controls, and operationalize them into effective practices.
- Be the steward for security best practices within the organization.

Qualifications Qualifications: - Associate degree or commensurate experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years Technical Support experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- A+ Certification or verification of technical skills training preferred.
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills: - Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding judgment, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility, problem-solving, and team attitude.
- Basic understanding of Windows Networking.
- Proficient with computer software, Microsoft Office Suite 365, database, and typing skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
Direct Reports: Travel: - Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
Physical Requirements for the Job: - Able to sit, stand, and or walk throughout the day.
- Intermittently required to stoop, bend, speak, and listen.
