Job description
Nextep is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our team of HR Business Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing human resources strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a positive work environment. This position manages day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Accountable and responsible for all aspects of quality service for clients. Managers administration of HR product offerings and answers general Human Resources inquiries for clients.
About the role:
- Manages Nextep’s Human Resources Business Partners and oversees personnel in the department from work schedules to attendance and performance management.
- Prepares and facilitates department meetings and employee one-on-one meetings
- Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to establishing goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
- Manages HR programs in online training, recruiting, performance management, background screening, employee handbooks, compensation data, services reviews, and unemployment
- Conducts internal audits for compliance, quality, and internal control purposes
- Serve as the main point of contact for a select group of our clients to service their HR needs
Requirements
About you:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field. Equivalent experience would be considered
- You have at least 7 years of experience in Human Resources and 2 years of management experience
- You have a knack for customer service, and some past experience to show it.
- You have a high-degree of knowledge in Human Resources. If you have a Senior Level Certification, we’ll be especially interested.
