JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is hiring a VTC Engineer to maintain, support, and troubleshoot the video/teleconference systems for the US Army Corp of Engineers. 

Note: This job is 100% REMOTE and can be worked anywhere in the U.S.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver 24/7/365 VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE technical support.  

• Assist VTC Operators with VTC related issues as required including in progress VTC calls. 

• Technical expert with USACE VTC infrastructure primarily on the unclassified CorpsNet and NIPRNet and provide support as needed on classified SVTC (SIPRNet) and latitude in day-to-day technical decision-making

• Provide core UC VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE services, audio/visual and telepresence support and expertise to ensure successful VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE operation by USACE end users.  

• Be familiar with DISA Gloablvideoservices (GVS) operations. 

• VTC Engineer will interact with various vendors evaluating UC technologies, and systems.

• Provides mission-critical and mission-essential VTC and Digital Signage installation and maintenance support for Top Commanders and Directors as requested.

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain CISCO Video Expressway Core and Edge Servers

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain CISCO Telepresence Management Suite Servers(TMS)

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain CISCO Meeting Servers(CMS)

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain VQ Conference Manager Servers (VQ)

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain CISCO WEBEX system

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain Appspace Digital Signage System

• Install Configure Operate and Maintain BrightSign and CISCO Edge 340 Media Players

• Install, configure, monitor, test, and maintain all USACE VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE endpoints and media players. 

• Ensure all VTC and Digital Signage systems meet Dod security standards and protocols. 

• Ensure all VTC systems have current firmware and are STIG’d IAW DISA requirements

• Ensure all security vulnerabilities are cleared as soon as possible

• Assist upon request training end users on equipment use, placement, set-up, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting.

• Submit Repair Maintenance Actions (RMA) as required.

• Management of VTC infrastructure virtual machines using VMWARE tools.

• Direct and oversee completion of repairs necessary to ensure proper operation of all equipment in conference rooms, training rooms, auditoriums, offices, workspaces, and telepresence rooms. Maintain VTC devices registered on both UC and VCS.Provide asset management services of VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE equipment.

• As required by work request, provide on-site and in-person contractor presence for live troubleshooting and support of classified (Secret) and non-classified meetings. -  Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members.

• Operate and Maintain CISCO WEBEX and Ply Group Series Desktop and Conference room systems

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:  

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of IT Collaborative Teleconference experience.
• Will also consider a High School diploma and 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 
• Specialized skills in system administration, network security, Cisco routers and switches; satellite, tactical, and radio communications, and voice/video and data capabilities.
• Familiar with VIS (Crestron & AMX)  hardware, software, network, and systems engineering in accordance with requirements and additional VIS needs.
• Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging VTC-DIGITAL SIGNAGE and A/V hardware and software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Experience with drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and VTC related Policies

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• CCNA Collaboration
• CompTIA Security +
• CASP Desired
• CCNP Desired

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must have at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance to start work, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
