Job description
Are you looking for a new & exciting career with room for growth? Adecco is currently assisting a local manufacturer in their search to fill a Bench Grinder, 2nd shift job in Lansing, MI. Great company and working environment with room for growth and potential to be hired on.
This is Monday through Friday 3pm-11pm
Responsibilities for this job include:
Use hand tools, including grinders, belt sanders, band saws, and drill presses, to shape and refine parts according to customer specifications.
Utilize calibrated tools and measuring devices to ensure precision and accuracy in part dimensions.
Complete necessary paperwork and checklists to maintain records and track progress.
Prioritize safety and quality, performing work with a high level of responsibility.
If you have:
Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing background, preferably in Aerospace.
Must have experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drill presses and band saws
Must have experience with a wide variety of measuring and inspection devices
Must be able to pay exception attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures and complete assignments accurately and on time
Must have experience in interpreting all types of engineering drawings and documents
Education Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required.
