Overview of the Role: This position is directly responsible for coordinating and executing all strategic tactics related to maximizing the performance of the company’s ecommerce account portfolio under close collaboration with other members of the direct-to-consumer team and brand teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, executing tactics directed to optimizing the consumer experience when shopping our products on external websites and hence impacting the consumer purchasing decision as it relates to:
- Catalog management. A key function of the role is product content (i.e. descriptions, videos, warranties, photography, search engine optimization, etc.)
- Identify sales opportunities and present cost and return analysis
- Be a support between customer service and the ecommerce development sales team to resolve order, pricing, inventory and any interruptions in service to accounts
- The eRetail Sales Specialist is responsible for executing digital advertising campaigns (such as: Amazon Advertising, Walmart Media Group, etc.)
- Must analyze sales data and market share using internal and external tools, and then be able to effectively communicate findings to sales/marketing teams
- Consumer feedback (i.e. reviews, FAQs, etc.)
- The eRetail Sales Specialist is responsible for helping to maintain the content repository for USA and Canada markets.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: - Gain deep understating of customer’s websites, competitive advantage, and niche value so as to provide actionable merchandising, promotional and pricing recommendations directed to impacting account revenue.
- Execute and track performance of all digital marketing campaigns
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting process for assigned accounts and present business case to support investments and revenue growth.
- Manage catalog with current content and identify additional content needs to support conversion & customer’s requirements.
- Build and maintain the organization’s content on assigned accounts.
- Understand opportunities, needs, requirements and timing for improvements in data, product hierarchy, branding opportunities, online tools and educational information.
- Identify opportunities to automate, expedite and simplify transactions with customers and mobilize organization in addressing them in a priority basis.
- Assist in the content database planning, maintenance and overall strategy as it relates to eRetailers.
- Conduct virtual visits to ensure merchandising standards, monitor and identify competitive activity, do pricing surveys to ensure that the correct mix of products are being offered to the consumer.
- Be a support between customer service and the ecommerce development sales team to resolve order, pricing, inventory and any interruptions in service to accounts.
- Assist in the development of proposals, presentations and recommendations in conjunction with semi-annual or annual modular reviews.
- Assist in the management & executions of the promotional plans and spends for accounts.
- Create and present product knowledge to the customers as needed.
- Maintain a detailed record of all initiatives executed and report progress internally.
Successful Candidate Profile: - BA/BS Marketing, Business degree required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in internet sales, preferred
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization, ECommerce Management/Merchandising Practices, and Online Marketing & Advertising.
- Willing to travel 15% of the time during the year and to work 3-5 weekends per year
- Well-developed skills in Adobe Fireworks/Photoshop preferred
- Knowledgeable in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Professional, effective written communications skills required.
- Well-developed analytical skills. Proactive, intuitive, naturally curious and comfortable with change.

- Accurate and detail oriented and capable of executing functions efficiently
