GENERAL SUMMARY

Schedule plant activities (date, time, sequence) for all plant organizations. Develop system window schedules to support on-line maintenance and outage management. Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools. Assist the Lead Outage Scheduler and Outage Manager with outage activities related to development of detailed plans/schedules, resolving conflicts with schedule adherence, and developing outage shut down risk profiles. Support the Columbia Generating Station Emergency Plan by performing drill and exercise, on call, training, and qualification activities when required.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Direct and coordinate the detailed schedule development for assigned windows to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals.

  2. Maintain outage schedule integrity.

  3. Assist in forced outage coordination as required.

  4. Develop and implement outage scheduling methodology based on industry best practice.

  5. Develop and maintain assigned outage performance indicators and reports.

Other Duties:

  1. Must participate on the Emergency Response Team (ERO) when designated.

  2. Must support biennial refueling outage.

  3. Must provide support to the Outage Command Center (OCC).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Level III:

Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,

Associate’s degree in a Technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,

High school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.

Level II:

Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 5 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,

Associate’s degree in a Technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,

High school diploma or GED and 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.

Pay Range:

Scheduler III

Salary: $108,279 - $162,419

$135,349 midpoint

Scheduler II

Salary: $94,148 - $141,222

$117,685 midpoint

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
