PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Human Resources and the Operations Leadership (Steering) Team
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Welcoming visitors and directing them to the relevant office/personnel.
- Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations.
- Managing and updating company databases.
- Keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining financial, employee, and client records.
- Drafting and mailing customer correspondence and newsletters.
- Organizing events, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
- Managing the maintenance of office and facility equipment.
- Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Provides timely and accurate completion of all assigned reports, Alchemy, SOP’s, presentations, manuals, etc. as assigned by the Plant Manager
- Assists Human Resources Manager with associate events and associate administration, including orientation, associate communication (digital and written) and other associated tasks
- Manages special projects and samples as assigned by the leadership team, providing coordination as needed. Ensures timelines are met, providing updates on status, including delays.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Position requires a minimum of 3 years administrative experience A 2-year Administrative Science Degree is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is expected. Individual must be able to assimilate new software, procedures and techniques.
- Must be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment. Individual must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must possess interpersonal skills to facilitate constant interaction with a wide variety of personalities and management styles. Also, the ability to maintain focus on assigned tasks in spite of constant interruptions by telephone and personal contact is an essential component of the position. Will need to be able to work effectively with others, both internally and externally, to accomplish administrative duties.
