Position Overview: As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the social and emotional needs of individuals and families. This position requires a strong commitment to advocacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Intervention:

   • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting well-being.
   • Develop and implement intervention plans to address identified needs and promote positive outcomes.

2. Counseling and Support:

   • Provide individual and group counseling to clients facing various challenges, such as mental health issues, family conflicts, and life transitions.
   • Offer emotional support, coping strategies, and resources to enhance clients' overall well-being.

3. Advocacy:

   • Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources, ensuring they receive the support and services needed for optimal quality of life.
   • Collaborate with external agencies, government entities, and community organizations to advocate for systemic change and social justice.

4. Case Management:

   • Develop and maintain case records, documenting assessments, interventions, and progress.
   • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of services to clients, collaborating with other professionals as needed.

5. Community Outreach:

   • Engage in community outreach activities to identify individuals in need of social services.
   • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance support networks.

6. Crisis Intervention:

   • Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to individuals and families in distress.
   • Collaborate with emergency services and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

7. Education and Prevention:

   • Conduct educational workshops and training sessions on social and mental health issues.
   • Develop and implement prevention programs to address the root causes of social challenges.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• State licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
• 1+ years of experience in social work, with a focus on direct client services.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
