Job description
Director of Engineering - High Speed Packaging
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical preferred)
- Lean/Six-sigma preferred
- 10+ years of experience in high-speed packaging engineering
- MBA a strong plus
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale packaging projects
- Strong knowledge of packaging machinery and technology
- Experience in the food, beverage, or related industries
- Expertise in project management and process optimization
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional engineering teams
- Passport required for occasional international travel
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all engineering aspects related to high-speed packaging
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance packaging efficiency and innovation
- Manage and coordinate large-scale packaging projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to optimize processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in packaging technology and machinery
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical guidance to support business objectives
- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the organization
