Job Summary

If you're interested in a Maintenance Technician job, then this is the best role for you. This role will perform basic general routine maintenance for plant, including Facilities and Utilities.

Job Description

• Perform complex periodic preventive maintenance inspections, procedures, and tasks.
• Process work requests and other data through the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Repair equipment and solve facility problems.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on power sweeper, forklift, scissor lift, air compressors and rotating equipment.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 3 years related experience and training, preferably in industrial maintenance.
• Must have the ability to operate power sweeper, forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
• Ability to repair equipment with minimum instructions, arc welding, soldering, brazing, etc. when requested.
• Ability to use various electrical and mechanical measurements devices including micrometers, depth gauges, feeler gauges, dial gauges, voltmeter, caliper etc.
• Familiar with specifications of pip fitting, shop hand tools, drills and taps, bearings, belts, seals, lubrication, pumps, and motors.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal (English).

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), preferably associate degree or equivalent certifications in related field.
• Forklift certificate.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Shift: 07:00 AM

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour based on qualifications.
