Robotics Software Engineer - Series A Parking Automation startup
San Francisco Bay Area
$150-200k base salary plus equity, benefits.

The Company
The firm are a Series A startup who have been building fully automated parking facilities since 2018. They have a fully operational test garage and are now embarking on new projects to which will expand functionality such as EV charging.

The role
As a Robotics software engineer, you will work at the intersection of software, electronics, and mechanical systems.
You will have the opportunity to take the lead on a new Robotic EV charger, developing the software from scratch using C++. Python, ROS all the way to production.
You will use you extensive knowledge of electromechanical systems to build, test and debug.

The Individual
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skill and experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineering
• Extensive production level C++ experience
• Experience developing robotics software in one of the following areas: control, sensing, motion planning, localization, simulation.
• Strong experience in debugging of complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of Computer Science such as data structures and algorithms and experience of modern software practices and tools.
