Job description

With over 110 years in business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Journey Group is growing and seeking a proactive Safety Manager to join our team to administer the day-to-day aspects of project safety to ensure compliance with regulatory and construction safety standards. The Safety Manager will implement safety initiatives and safety loss/risk control programs to promote a relational based safety program. Journey Group's corporate office is a casual yet professional work setting where customers are the priority, teamwork is our culture, and acting with fiscal stewardship and integrity are the expectation.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in safety related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive safety leadership experience is required.
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and proof of insurance.
• Technical knowledge of all federal, state and local construction related safety regulations and standards.
  • (OSHA 30, DOT, EPA, GHS)
