Job description

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a Special Projects Intern to support an upcoming project at our French Valley facility. Responsibilities include preparing boxes of documents for scanning and electronic labeling and filing by work order. You must be detail oriented and comfortable with basic computer filing systems.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, clips and organizing by work order.
• Scan all documents in order, label each scan by work order or accounting name and place in electronic online files.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize documents electronically by name
• Ability to work with minimal supervision once the project gets started
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite

Education / Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education

Experience:

• One year office experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
• For the purpose of this summary, occasionally is used to represent up to 1/3 of the time given to the work day, frequently represents 1/3 to 2/3 of the time and constantly represents 2/3 or more of the time.
