Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to work in our fast-paced Accounting Department in our Rochester, NY office.
Duties
- Issuing monthly billing for multiple Project Managers
- Collaborating with project staff and the accounting team to create and send out project invoicing
- Provide financial guidance by generating reports and analyzing data
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Three or more years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Billing practices is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required. The selected candidate must be able to manage their own workload to efficiently complete their tasks by assigned deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Training for the Accounting Associate position will require in-person attendance, but once completed a hybrid schedule can be established.
Salary Range: $25 - $29 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
