Job description
IT Portfolio Manager needs 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of five years in a Portfolio/Program management position.
IT Portfolio Manager requires:
-Location Charlotte, NC, Iselin, NJ and Dallas, TX
-Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related field from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
-Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of five years in a Portfolio/Program management position.
-SAFe Certified preferred
-Good working knowledge of both Agile methodologies.
-Experienced in managing a large portfolio of interdependent IT projects.
-Program, project, and change management skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Preferred
-Knowledge of the principles and practices of business organization and management.
-Knowledge of the organization and functions of an information technology business operation
IT Portfolio Manager duties:
-Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Solution Trains using various tools, such as the Solution Kanbans.
-Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Solution Backlogs, Solution Kanbans, Solution Trains, Solution Demos, and Program Increments (PIs).
-Facilitate Solution Planning and PI Planning readiness via fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs, and via Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
-Facilitate the Solution Planning and PI Planning event.
-Aggregate into Solution PI Objectives, Program PI Objectives, and Team PI Objectives (and publish them for visibility and transparency).
-Aggregate program PI objectives into Solution PI Objectives (the STE) and publish them for visibility and transparency.
-Assist with execution and Capability and Capability-Enablers completion tracking.
