Description : The mechanical assembler plays a key role in assembling aircraft parts under minimal supervision.  The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in assembly, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and comfortable reading blueprints and schematics.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM (M-F) - $18.75/HR
• 2nd Shift: 3PM-11PM (M-F) - $20.63/HR

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assembling, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies by using appropriate tools and equipment
• Follow work instructions
• Pick and stock parts from point of use from stock room
• Complete all required paperwork in relation to assemblies
• Complete quality assurance and test records reports
• Perform test stand preset calibration and final test of product

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Knowledge with a variety of basic hand tools such as, but not limited to: wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrappers, box cutters)
• Comfortable working with computers and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or out put information
• Ability to write effectively, read and understand work documents, and communicate information clearly to team
• Manual dexterity and ability to work quickly with hands
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Experience working from blueprints/schematics/drawings
• Mechanically Inclined
