2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Operations example – As a Production Supervisor you’ll be working to support the plant’s day-to-day operations. You’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Driving a positive safety culture with the belief that all injuries can be prevented
• Develop and maintain reporting mechanism needed to monitor production rates, yields, and quality, cost variances.
• Identify areas for improvement in process, equipment, and training, ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed
• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives, understand requirements, meet production specifications and deadlines. Coordinate production activities with engineering, maintenance and quality control activities
• Utilize effective troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis to monitor, assess and resolve production issues with staff and equipment.
• Supervise, coach, develop and evaluate performance of production personnel with a goal of cross training staff , ensuring that cGMP procedures and practices are maintained and followed.

You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, operations management or similar field.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a chemical or food/beverage manufacturing environment
• Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and Sanitation experience, preferably in a perfumery and/or food/beverage facility.
