Job description
Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Material Blender for our client in New Baltimore, MI.
Shift: 11pm to 7am
Pay Rate: $20.75 to $24.75 per hour (based upon experience).
Position Summary Handles and blends material by determining daily requirements for machines
Responsibilities v Mix material to required percentage amount per required specifications.
v Clean and maintain all related equipment (Blender, Loaders, Grinders, etc)
v Track and record regrind usage and history.
v Verify correct materials and labeling, and store in proper location.
v Determine daily material requirements for molding machines.
v Work with Materials Department to help maintain proper inventory levels of material.
v Maintain and clean the materials and regrind storage area.
v Assist Molding Leader with material changeovers.
v Scrap removal (Red Bins) and grinding.
v Serve as back-up to Process Technician or Die Setter as needed.
v Any additional work as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements v High School graduate or equivalent experience
v 2 years experience preferred.
Licensing or Special Certification Requirements v MiOSHA Industrial Powered Truck License
v MiOSHA Overhead Crane License
Physical Requirements v Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching and climbing stairs
v Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
v Pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs
v Use of hands and legs
v Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation
v Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
v Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors
v Operation of truck or motor vehicle
Working Conditions v Works inside within an automotive components manufacturing office setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
v Noise: constant above 85dcb with vibration
v Occasionally work with chemicals, grease, oils, machinery with moving parts, moving vehicles, hands in water, alone and more than 40 hours
Protective Equipment Required v Eye protection required
v Hearing protection Required
v Occasionally hard hat and gloves are required
v Safety toe shoes.
