Job description
Job Title: Physician for fortune 500 managed care organization
Employment Type: 1099, Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $116.77 per hour
Typical Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with flexibility to adjust to 12 PM to 8 PM shifts as needed
- Telehealth availability on evenings/weekends
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO Washington Licensed
- Primary Care Provider with 5+ years of experience
- Administrative experience desirable
- Comfortable with pediatrics, adolescent, and adult medicine
- Proficiency in the use of Suboxone/treatment of Opioid/Substance use disorder preferred
- Bilingual, English-Spanish speaking desirable
- Telehealth experience
- Epic proficiency
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services to patients both in clinic and via telehealth
- Clinical supervision of mid-level staff, serving as a resource for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services
- Periodically review medical records as part of the patient care evaluation process
- Ensure ongoing patient and family education is provided, facilitating the development and evaluation of standardized education plans
- Assist in ongoing Quality Improvement activities
- Provide leadership and direction to mid-level practitioner staff in accordance with practice act guidelines and department/system goals
- Participate in and foster ongoing staff communication and support; attend regular staff meetings
Required License: MD or DO State of Washington
