Ophthalmic Assistant / Technician
Primary Location: Spartanburg, SC Must be willing to travel to our other offices as needed
Hours: Full-time, Non-exempt
Educational Level: High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the medical field
Preferred Experience: At least 1 year of experience in ophthalmology
Retina Consultants of Carolina, the Upstate's premier Retina specialists for over 25 years is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician (OT). The Ophthalmic Technician plays a vital role, collaborating closely with physicians and fellow technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to every patient in our practice. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary testing, accurately documenting chief complaints and medical histories, managing patient flow, preparing patients for procedures, and providing scribing support for physicians.
