Please note: This position has the possibility to work remotely up to 100% of the time. The position will require occasional travel to the Phoenix corporate offices and/or site locations . This position may be performed anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky and New York. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the positions shift to in-office work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time should the position meet the established eligibility for these benefits.
Under limited supervision, plans, organizes, and manages commissioning activities to evaluate the performance of facilities, systems, and assemblies for ensuring they meet defined objectives and criteria. Responsible for process for the planning, delivery, verification, and managing risks to critical functions. Responsible to organized and have good interpersonal skills and required to plan, synchronize, and execute complex undertakings with a diverse set of individuals in different roles.
1. Coordinate and develops commissioning systems with MIS / consultants i.e., punch list tool management, document transfers, control narrative tracker, SharePoint, teams’ development etc.
2. Coordinate with commissioning mangers to develop internal communication documents, weekly & monthly report and emails to project personnel and team members of important notices
3. Reviews P&IDs, design drawings and specifications to fully understand designated project areas and pre-commissioning systems and subsystems. Understands structure of turn over packages as defined on markup P&ID’s and flow sheets furnished by the EPCM
4. Ensures that all commissioning activities are captured in the project systems and works with Document Controls to prepare turnover package documentation. Responsible for project final documentation and ensure turnover to Knowledge Management Group.
5. Present progress and results of tasks to management and other interested parties in person or in digital format
6. Conduct regular analysis of processes and procedures, making adjustments when necessary
7. Supports FAT’s by coordinating with engineering, commissioning team and 3rd party testing group.
8. Coordinate commissioning with construction sequence to expedite completion of construction and promote a logical commissioning effort.
9. Develop overall startup and commissioning plan – including startup safety guidelines, test procedures, resource and activity schedule, operational requirements, 3rd party requirements, and handover procedures
10. Work with project manager to coordinate participation of vendor representatives during commissioning.
11. Supports Hazop and model reviews by coordinate / attending the sessions.
12. Perform other relevant duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent in training and/or field experience and four (4) years of experience in the commissioning field OR
• High School diploma or GED and a minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in the commissioning field.
• Excellent written communication skills, especially in the English language
• Good understanding of document formatting for readability
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail in evaluating the completion of various phases of a project
• Analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential
• Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines
• Basic computer skills, especially email, spreadsheets, and presentation creation software
• Cooperative and communicative attitude with executive staff, managers, and employees
Criteria/Conditions:
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

Compensation:
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $69,000-$94,000 This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
