Job description
The Change Analyst will be responsible for driving continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the change management process. This position will manage the lifecycle of all change requests and will work on identifying improvements to streamline processes and procedures across the business.
Change Analyst Responsibilities:
Manages change requests on a day-to-day basis
Reviews, processes, tracks, documents and coordinates change requests submitted for production changes to minimize the impact or downtime to production environments
Schedules and hosts change management meetings; weekly technical review, Change Advisory Board (CAB) and monthly global maintenance windows
Develop and maintain change management policies, procedures, processes and documentation related to change management tools
Creates metrics and reporting for measuring change request success and compliancy
Creates development opportunities for employees to ensure that change management policies and processes are being adhered too
Evaluates and recommends methods and tools for streamlining and improving the change management process
Participates in change management related projects
Other projects or duties as assigned
Change Analyst Requirements:
Must be able to lead weekend global maintenance windows twice a month
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT field with 3 plus years of work experience in Global/Enterprise Support, Business Processes and / or Change Management or HS Diploma with 6 plus years of work experience in Global/Enterprise Support, Business Processes and / or Change Management
ITILv4 certified or demonstrate knowledge of ITIL best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
