Title: Marketing Specialist
Client: Energy Company
Location: Houston, Texas (Galleria)
Type: Contract-2-Hire
Rate $50/hour
Summary:
- Work with the Marketing Team providing project management of creative elements and digital marketing campaign support for corporate re-brand.
- Facilitate content development managing the budget, executing timelines, and coordinating with an external agency managing creative elements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including graphic designers, and copywriters to enhance creative content for B2B marketing campaigns.
- Coordinated creative elements with external agencies, and marketing firms to ensure campaign and corporate brand alignment.
Duties:
- Assist with the creative development and production of digital marketing assets.
- Coordinate weekly “Status Reports” timelines and schedules for brand deliverables and campaign assets.
- Provide implementation support for the department’s promotional calendar (tracking marketing plans/campaigns).
- Prepare “Budget Outlines” for creative briefs and project management support for budget management and expense tracking.
- Collaborate on fulfillment of internal brand requests and initiative.
- Help monitor creative output for alignment across assets while meeting set requirements and objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Agency experience working in a Marketing Creative Firm, Corporate Energy, or Oil & Gas company is a big plus!
- 2 years working with marketing CRM platforms Marketo or Pardot.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and writing portfolio of samples preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, budget Excel spreadsheets, generating Excel reports.
- Excellent relationship-building & interpersonal skills; collaborate across departments and organizations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
- Ability to coordinate with diverse work groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Ability to multitask and work successfully in a matrix organization with competing priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR, or related field
