POSITION DETAILS

City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law seeks qualified candidates for the position of Confidential Executive Coordinator. CUNY School of Law is a national leader in progressive legal education with a dual mission of training a diverse group of students to become excellent public interest attorneys and providing access to the profession for members of historically underrepresented communities. As part of its mission, the School prepares students to practice "Law in the Service of Human Needs," including intensive license preparation.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the duties of the position include but are not limited to:

??? Perform routine but important front office administrative functions: properly route telephone calls and messages and respond to the college community and external stakeholders who contact the office by providing basic information, instructions, and materials and referring matters to the Dean or other staff as appropriate, ensuring timely responses.

??? Assisting and providing administrative support to the Chief of Staff

??? Prepares meeting materials, including creating meeting agendas and coordinating special arrangements as needed.

??? Conducts research as needed, assembles, and prepares reports for the Dean.

??? Prepares letters, memos, and other documents as requested by the Dean.

??? Coordinate the logistics for on- and off-campus meetings, such as scheduling setup of A/V and other equipment, organizing handouts and presentation materials, and handling all other activities contributing to a successful meeting.

??? Conduct internet and/or database research relevant to assigned tasks and as requested to advance the work of the Office of the Dean.

??? Log and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages; maintain accurate mailing and contact databases. Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies and schedule the use of the conference rooms managed by the Dean???s office.

??? Assists with special projects as needed.

??? Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$54,268 - $65,946

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
