ENTRY LEVEL ATTORNEY

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND LICENSE : A. J.D. and maintained admission to The Florida Bar. Florida Bar License (Required)

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position requires attorneys of the Public Defender’s Office to champion for the indigent accused with the utmost professionalism and humanity in all proceedings. Attorneys must be able to work professionally in a fast paced and high-volume setting. Trained Attorneys are expected to assess cases, provide sound legal advice, and keep clients apprised of their legal status in a timely manner. Ethical duties in client communication and representation shall always be paramount. Experience is not necessary. This is a great opportunity for a new attorney to advance their career. The Public Defender’s Office of the 12th Judicial Circuit is medium sized office which allows for personalized training and individual development, while providing a wide variety of experiences.
