Responsibilities:
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests, ensuring collection of necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of stay
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Address client complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in another customer-facing role is required
- Experience with bookkeeping, Excel spreadsheets, or other accounting functions is required
- Familiarity with computers, copiers, faxes, and other office equipment
- Previous experience with answering multi-line telephones
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
