We have partnered with a growth focused PE firm who is looking to build out their accounting function. With a high acquisition focus, this organization has tremendous potential and is predicting the need to scale their operations. They are intending to hire top talent in their back-office functions in order to have the right minds and collaborative culture necessary to achieve their goals.
This organization is looking to add a
Senior Accountant to their team. With leadership already in place, they are noticing the need to build out policies and procedures as well as establish best practices. This organizations MO has been to hire people who are creative, solution oriented and who are interested in having a seat at the table. The
Senior Accountant will have hands on training and exposure to the leadership as well as PE team.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Financial statement preparation, month end close, quarterly and annual close
- Exposure to finance inclusive of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning as well as trend analysis and margin analysis
- Creation and adherence to policies, procedure and best practices
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions as well as post acquisition integrations
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Collaborative and solution oriented
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Experience in private equity environments or public accounting
