Job description
Are you a WMS Engineer that is very strong with Blue Yonder/ JDA , Sterling, Manhattan, and/or other WMS systems? BCT has a client in DFW searching for a strong hybrid direct-hire Sr. WMS Engineer for a very technical role to contribute to functional design & solution delivery for the WMS solution.
SALARY OFFERED: Up to $140K depending on candidates experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, analyze & interpret data related to warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order volumes, picking accuracy & shipping/receiving performance
- Assist the functional design & solution delivery for the WMS solution
- Liable for integrated technology delivery execution plus driving continuous improvement of the WMS solution systems
- Provide functional design inputs & lead effort to create business process design, functional specifications & test planning efforts
- Analyze code, configuration, data & logs to find causes of errors & revise the solution as needed
- Identify areas to improve in inventory management, order picking, packing/shipping & develop strategies to streamline processes
- Support development of test strategy & identification of test scenarios
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), Computer & Information Science (CIS), or an IT related subject is required
- Must have Blue Yonder/ JDA experience on BY WMS
- Experience with Sterling, Manhattan, or other WMS systems are a big plus
- Minimum 2 years' Technical experience with RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server & MySQL
- At least 6 years working with Blue Yonder/ JDA WMS , at least 2 full-cycle implementations as an Engineer or Consultant required
- Exposure to wholesale, retail & eCommerce models, supply chain & warehousing is required
- Experience in Agile Methodology & API based integrations
- Capable of working with IT & Business stakeholders, Distribution Center Managers/Associates
