GENERAL SUMMARY
The senior oversight project manager provides higher level oversight for multidiscipline, multiyear, and/or multiphase projects involving the most complexity, highest risk, and/or the highest financial investment (total cost > $10M) and requiring the strongest leadership.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Senior Oversight Project Manager provides high level oversight of project management including all phases (Study, Design, Planning, Procurement, Implementation and Closeout) for multi-faceted major projects involving highest enterprise, nuclear, safety, radiological, and/or environmental risk. Typically assigned multidiscipline projects requiring additional leadership for risk management. Ensures roles/responsibilities and priorities within projects are established and reinforced.
Ensures multi-faceted major project activities are well integrated and effectively sequenced to minimize enterprise risk exposure, control costs, and complete as planned. Ensures formal challenges are frequently utilized to ensure completion of each phase accurately, on time and with the highest quality.
Maintains a general knowledge of all aspects of the project(s) assigned. Oversees the activities of project teams involving multiple disciplines and organizations; maintains a broad knowledge base of new technologies, operating experience, and industry trends as related to assigned projects; monitors project management processes and recommends changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency; interacts closely with the finance organization and the project controls group; coordinates with other project and line managers; coaches/mentors project managers and other project team members and acts for department manager/general manager when required.

Requires manager experience at CGS. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from accredited college or university AND 12 years of relevant experience in a technical field.
OR
Associate’s degree in a technical field from accredited college or university AND 14 years of relevant experience in a technical field.
OR
High School Diploma/GED AND 16 years of relevant experience in a technical field. Demonstrated diverse department level management experience with excellent ability to mentor and lead others through high stress and demanding situations.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 14 years of project management experience in a related commercial nuclear power plant or construction;
OR
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in engineering, construction, or project management or related field, and ten years of project management experience or eight years licensed operator experience with knowledge in projects.
Ten years of experience in a commercial nuclear power plant are required.

OR
Eight years of experience as a licensed operator at a nuclear power plant with experience in coordinating projects, schedules and budgets

A high school diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in coordinating projects as well as project schedules and budgets for projects related to commercial nuclear power plants or construction
Four years of experience in a commercial nuclear power plant are required.

Pay Range:
Level III Salary: $143,226 - $214,838
Midpoint: $179,032
Level II Salary: $124,510 - $186,764
Midpoint: $155,637
Level I Salary: $108,279 - $162,419
Midpoint: $135,349
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
