Job description
Goldberg Segalla, a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national and international practice, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join its team as a Legal Assistant supporting attorneys that have a high volume of work in our Philadelphia, PA office.
Job Description: - Provide administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys and provide backup to other attorneys as requested.
- Assist with administrative tasks as it relates to the specific office and attorneys.
- Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Perform administrative duties, including proofreading and editing all materials for extreme accuracy and clarity
- E-filing knowledge in preparation to file all types of discovery requests, responses to opposing counsel, and motions
- Knowledge of legal documents and terminology
- Knowledge of expense reporting, billing and dictation
- Assist with calendar calls and deposition scheduling, as needed
- Assist with travel plans, as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Human Resources
Requirements/Skills - A minimum of three (3) years of legal administrative experience.
- Associates Degree or higher.
- Exceptional organization skills.

- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Teamwork oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
