Job description
Forsyth Seafood Market & Cafe in Winston Salem, NC is looking for one food truck operator to join our 18 person strong team. We are located on 108 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
Forsyth Seafood is searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Food Truck Operator . In this role, you will be responsible for operating our food truck, serving the hottest, freshest, seafood on wheels!
Food Truck Responsibilities:
· Manage food truck operations, including driving, cooking, and serving guests.
· Create menus and that meet customer needs and dietary restrictions.
· Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
· Ensure that the food truck is clean and meets health and safety standards.
· Manage cash flow and maintain accurate records of transactions.
· Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
· Attend events and festivals to promote the Forsyth Seafood Brand.
Qualifications
· Strong Operations experience – food truck experience preferred but not required.
· Possess ServSafe certification or ability to get ServSafe certified.
· Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
· Demonstrated experience working with leaders, identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results/recommendations.
· Must be 21+ years old.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Experience with Toast POS preferred but not required.
· Ability to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Good organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to prioritize daily activities.
· Ability to motivate others.
· Ability to travel within the continental US up to 75% including overnight stays and weekends, as needed.
