Job description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 11 Flight Readiness Technician/QA Inspection Bs for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completing inspections, pre-flight, post-flight, writing up discrepancies in accordance with FAA regulations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
o Inspects pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and documents faulty components.
o Conducts pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification actions.
o Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
o Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection.
o Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
o Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
o Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Aviation experience of 1-5 years
o 1-5 years of flight line experience
o 1-5 years of troubleshooting experience (hydraulics, avionics, fuels etc).
o Previous Safety experience/flight line.
o Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
o Good written and oral communication.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Quality Experience is a plus
o A&P License a Plus
EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
WORK HOURS:
1ST: 6:00 - 2:30
2ND: 2:30 - 11
3RD: 11 PM - 6 AM
