Job description

Are you ready for a serious career opportunity with a fun group in a fun place? This Wyoming State Library (WSL) professional position coordinates the access, evaluation, and selection of licensed eResources, learning tools, and other products made available through the GoWYLD resources portal ; provides training and support in the use of licensed eResources; curates the GoWYLD LibGuides platform; and provides library development consultation services as library needs arise. This position assists in achieving the mission of the Wyoming State Library: to promote statewide library development, foster library cooperation, and provide reliable information to customers.

Preference will be given to applicants with a Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS). Preference will also be given to experience in performing reference interviews, state and federal document research, library outreach, and eResources management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Library Science)

Experience:

0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Library Science)

OR

Education & Experience Substitution:

3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Library Science)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None

PREFERENCES:

Preference will be given to applicants with a Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS).
