Seeking a Locum Tenens Anesthesia Physician in Fredericksburg, VA, to be responsible for providing anesthesia services across various surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatric Surgery, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Podiatry, Urology, and Back Surgery. The position requires both the ability to supervise CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) and perform cases independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia during a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs to deliver high-quality anesthesia care.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols, standards, and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• ACLS and BLS Certifications.
• DEA Certification.
• Full-Time Availability.
• Comfortable supervising CRNAs and performing solo cases.
