OperationsInc offers a full range of payroll services including but not limited to Federal and State Tax Registrations, Multi-Jurisdictional Payrolls, Payroll Administration, Payroll Implementations, Payroll Vendor Transitions, Tax Amendments, Tax Compliance, Technology Integration, Time and Attendance Implementations and Management, W-2 Reconciliations, and Workflow and Process Design.

As a result of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an onsite or remote Senior Payroll & HRIS Technology Specialist to add to our team.
The resource we are seeking will be responsible for administering complex payrolls, managing day to day payroll tax configurations, reconciling quarterly/annual tax filings, and completing other multifaceted payroll and HRIS related projects as needed by our clients. This resource will use their expertise and take ownership of providing service to multiple clients using various solutions.

As a member of the consulting team, your job duties include identifying your clients’ business needs, actively providing best practices, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate MUST possess:

Ability to identify and recommend process improvements such as training, customization, automation, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of our client’s HRIS/Payroll platform.

Ability to build and maintain client relationships in a customer centric environment.

Successfully manage several projects and/or clients simultaneously in a highly organized manner.

Prioritizes meeting client deliverables and deadlines.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a payroll specialist or payroll administrator.

Preferred experience with UKG/UltiPro, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Ceridian and/or Workday.

Experience with other HRIS/Payroll platforms is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel, including creating formulas and Pivot Tables and the use of VLOOKUP.

Required competencies include attention to detail, comfort with numbers, problem solving ability and the ability to operate in a highly confidential setting.

Experience with payroll taxes and quarterly/annual reconciliations with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in root cause analysis.

Ability to create and document standard payroll processing procedures.

Ability to work in a virtual team environment or independently, completing tasks accurately and efficiently.

Ability to provide payroll compliance support, guidance, and best practices.

Experience in project management as it relates to payroll and HRIS technology implementations including maintaining project plans.

Ability to effectively manage and create documentation relating to process, procedures, and training.

Salary:

Base salary $35-$48 an hour.

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including skills and experience.
