Job description
Anika Systems is a fast growing, woman-owned small business that specializes in providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies. Our expertise lies in accelerating delivery in Data and Analytics, Intelligent Automation, Application Development, and IT Modernization. We are currently expanding our Federal team and are seeking a passionate and talented Power Apps Developer. This opportunity is 100% remote.
As a Power App Developer SME, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining creative and scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate closely to understand the business needs and translate them into powerful applications that empower the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of certifications in power platform and 4+ years of direct experience and be recognized as a leader in building solutions that deliver high velocity and continuous refinement to meet evolving business needs.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and On-prem SQL server 2019 databases).
Lead the end-to-end development process, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing optimization, ensuring the solution alignment with business objectives.
Create and document application solution design and version history of changes, providing application stakeholders insight to continue development and enhancement after the migration.
Design and implement data models, workflows, and automation processes to streamline and enhance business processes.
Leverage your expertise to drive best practices and standards for Power Platform development across the organization.
Transform ambiguous or complex requirements into tangible and practical solutions that address business challenges.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem and recommend their application to improve existing solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate PL-400
Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate PL-500
Proven experience (3+ years) in designing and developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Proven experience in client or Microsoft Windows Server operating system (2019-2022) migrations
Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server (Server 2019-Server 2022) migrations hosting ASP.NET and .Net Framework applications.
Familiarity with a variety of technologies and tools used in application modernization.
