Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fraud Data Analyst in Draper, UT.

The Fraud Data Analyst uses a variety of data analytics platforms to mine large volumes of data in an effort to identify and mitigate fraudulent account activity, discover patterns and anomalies in member behavior, and develop metrics around transactional and operational data to report on fraud attempts, losses and trends. The Analyst will stay informed about new fraud risk trends and write new rules to address shifts in fraud trends to protect the organization while maintaining a positive member experience. The Analyst interacts with direct leadership and other teams across the organization to report on and recommend new fraud prevention strategies.
Duties Include:
- Develop and maintain fraud prevention rules, including periodic review of rule performance
- Develop metrics to support fraud KRIs and produce on a quarterly basis
- Perform data analysis function related to fraud incidents
- Proactively find new ways to identify vulnerabilities and extend fraud monitoring capabilities
- Assists management with development of metrics which detail fraud losses, threats, trends, etc.
- Maintain proper documentation of fraud prevention rules, strategies and metrics as dictated by the organization's fraud governance
- Stay abreast of fraud trends across various industries to ensure detection and mitigation rules are in line with the current fraud threat landscape
- Maintain knowledge and familiarity with new technologies and techniques available for key performance reporting and data analysis
- Represent the Company Fraud Program in collaborative internal/external meetings
- Attend meetings to represent the Company Fraud Program where discussions are focused on data analytics and risk mitigation strategy
- Collaborate with Team members to ensure function is repeatable (provide necessary training, procedure documents, etc.)
