Responsibilities:

Filler Rooms:

• Perform internal and external cleaning and sanitation as required.
• Set up and test sanitation parameters.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation.

Production Areas:

• Foam and rinse full can conveyor, tabletops, frames, and rails.
• Clean and rinse floors around production line conveyors.
• Ensure trash and debris are removed from production lines.
• Clean and sanitize can warmers according to schedule.

Warehouse Areas:

• Clean all warehouse floors of debris.
• Safely operate floor washer and ensure correct cleaning procedures.
• Sweep and clean truck bays as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and GMP and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with USDA, FDA, SQF, and customer requirements for food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of sustainability and EPA requirements for manufacturing plants.
• Operate necessary equipment and maintain excellent safety, attendance, and punctuality records.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Wear specified company-provided protective gear at all times.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable of frequent climbing, bending, pulling, and lifting, including using high-pressure hoses.
• Comfortable lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Strong decision-making, thoroughness, and time management skills required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
