Job Duties and Responsibilities DISH is seeking a Retail Wireless Business Operations Strategy and Financial Analyst to become part of the Dealer Health & Compensation team within the Retail Wireless Sales Operations organization. The mission of the team is to:
- Oversee dealer network health, identify and address underperforming dealers while recommending strategies for improvement
- Develop and manage commission plans and promotional campaigns that align sales targets with company goals and budget
- Build and manage P&L financial models to understand how changes in the business will impact dealer profitability
Key Responsibilities:
- Create dynamic financial and data models to identify the impact of changing key assumptions
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to track and measure KPIs
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns and conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues impacting customer, retailer, or internal performance and develop solutions to address them
- Engage with key partners to determine reporting gaps and utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for improving processes, policies, and procedures
- Support the implementation of new tools, technologies, and systems to optimize operations
- Stay updated on best practices and industry trends and proactively recommend improvements
Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or analytics-related fields, MBA is a plus
- 1+ years of finance and business analytics experience; telecom, operations, or project management-related experience is preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
- Financial modeling experience required
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to convey findings from complex data sets with the use of easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and observations
- Ability to extract and manipulate large data sets across multiple applications
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
- Some experience with SQL and ability to write basic queries (preferred not required)
- Some experience with Python and process automation (preferred not required)
- Experience driving process improvements
- Ability to articulate detailed business requirements for project request documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary Ranges Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,200.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
