Job description
Summary of Duties : The Clinical Nutrition Manager primary responsibilities include developing standards and monitoring of clinical dietetic performance, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, managing the nutritional component of designated operations/programs, implementing and maintaining cost control procedures, hiring and orienting staff, interacting with hospital management and professional staff, maintaining professional competency and skill required fro professional practice. Plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises the work operations of the clinical nutrition staff.
Educational Requirements : B.A. or B.S. degree in Dietetics or equivalent by accredited college or university. Licensure/Certification Requirements : Registered Dietician. Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Experience Requirements : Five (5) years or more of clinical experience in an acute care facility required. Two (2) years supervisory experience required. Special Skills or Abilities : CNSC, CDE, and specialty certifications, SCN experience, CBORD/EPIC literacy preferred. MS in Dietetics or equivalent preferred. Bilingual.Job tags
